The University of Iowa Heart and Vascular Care Pulmonary Hypertension Program provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations followed by the appropriate treatment for patients with pulmonary hypertension.This approach improves the patient's quality of life and prognosis, while decreasing the length of stay in the hospital or even preventing a hospitalization.

Through prompt diagnosis, supervised treatment, and close follow-up, the Pulmonary Hypertension Program provides the best results for patients diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension.

24-hour availability
University of Iowa Heart and Vascular Care doctors and nurses are available 24 hours a day to assist patients and referring physicians.
