24/7 Consultation and Referral
UI Consult is a valuable resource for health care professionals. A single phone call
connects you with the expertise of University of Iowa Physicians, comprised of faculty in the UI Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine who serve
as the medical staff of UI Hospitals and Clinics.
The UI Consult staff is trained to help you make contact as quickly as possible. Physician consultation is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
On-call physicians are available for each clinical department during regular working hourse (Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm). If you need to speak with a physician not on call, our staff will make every effort to connect
you as quickly as possible.
Our staff is available to help facilitate connecting you to the office or staff to meet your needs:
