Communicating Effectively
with Payors

The Revenue Integrity staff is constantly working to improve the revenue cycle, and most importantly, provide superior service to our patients.

Using software and procedures that identify specific instances and patterns of underpayments, Revenue Integrity works to ensure that UI Hospitals and Clinics is paid according to the terms of a contract, with a primary focus on managed care (commercial) payors. The goal is simple: Have actual payments equal 100 percent of expected payments.

Revenue Integrity works to create efficient and effective communications with payors to correct past, present, and potential problems. We continuously share knowledge with, and listen to, all members of the health care system.

Revenue Integrity is a division of the Strategic Relations Department at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
