Unusual cancers of the womb are called uterine sarcomas. Uterine sarcomas account for only 1-5% of all uterine cancers. There are tow main types of uterine sarcomas, pure and mixed. Uterine sarcomas are treated essentially like other uterine cancers, but the cure rate is much less.
