Hodgkins Disease, or Hodgkins Lymphoma is a cancer of lymphoid tissue. It is named after a doctor who first noticed that this was a different condition from other disorders that involved enlarged lymph nodes. It is an uncommon cancer, with only about 7800 new cases in 2006. Hodgkins Disease is a highly curable disease with a good prognosis in most people.
