What is chemotherapy?


Chemotherapy is the use of drugs as a treatment for cancer. Chemotherapy is given to treat many kinds of cancer. It is used to treat solid tumors in many parts of the body like the lung, breast or liver. It is also used to treat cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma. There are several types of medications or drugs used to treat cancer.
