you with the following information to help you understand your cancer diagnosis
and treatment and to take good care of yourself.
- What kind of chemotherapy will I receive?
- How, when and where will I receive my chemotherapy?
- What are the possible side effects of my chemotherapy?
- What are some ways that I can prevent or minimize the side effects of my
chemotherapy?
- What side effects do I need to report to my doctor or nurse, and how do
I do that?
- Where can my family and I get emotional support to cope with a diagnosis
of cancer and the problems of cancer treatment?
The staff at the Clinical Cancer Center are here to help you understand your
chemotherapy and to take good care of yourself. Make sure you ask questions
and voice your concerns, and be an active partner in your health care.
